Why Are Central Air Conditioning Reviews Important?
As one of the oldest systems in the heating, ventilation, and air conditioning industry, the central air conditioning system is also one of the mostly widely used HVAC units in the whole world. If we look around, almost all commercial centres, hospitals, any building with all rooms occupied, and some residential homes use central air conditioning units.
Now that we have the World Wide Web to communicate with anybody (even those we do not know), we can now shout our central air conditioning reviews out to the world.
So what are central air conditioning reviews?
These are messages, comments or feedback from people about their concerns on central air conditioning units. At least a thousand people visit heating, ventilation, and air conditioning websites every day. For many years, central air conditioning units have operated in different settings, so there are also many different reviews being posted online.
Central units may come in two types: the package type or split system. Package types are those located on the roof of buildings. They are quite large and are sometimes noisy, especially if the unit vibrates. On the other hand, split systems are those that have compressor and condenser units found outside the building, and air handlers inside the building. These modern split systems are more convenient to use because they are noise and vibration free. Nowadays, split systems use refrigerant R410a, which is safe for the health and for the environment as it does not contain chlorofluorocarbon that destroys the ozone layer. Split systems are also using higher season energy efficiency ratio – as high as 13 and above, which is good because these models consume lesser electrical energy. With this information, it is quite obvious how central air conditioning reviews become positive or negative.
Central air conditioning reviews may also be about the system’s price. Central air conditioning prices depend on many factors. These may differ with regards to location or region. But generally, people give reviews on the expensive air conditioning systems. Well typically, the system costs an average of $3,500-$4,000, that is if added to an existing forced-air heating system in a 2,000-square-foot house with functional existing ductwork; $2,000-$10,000 for older, smaller houses or buildings about 800-1,000 square feet without existing ductwork; and $7,000-$8,000 if there is no ductwork and given that ducts should be added. The work time doubles here, so additional expense is really expected.
Another issue being reviewed is the complicated installation of the system. People comment on how installation requires more labour, more time, and more money. It needs heat calculation prior to installation, which means a technical fee for the contractor. Then, another labour expense for the one who will install ducts or pipes means an additional charge, then another fee for the one who repairs the wall. With the labour, installing central air systems may be completed in two to three days.
Central air systems may have provided comfort to many homes and offices for years but as we say, we cannot please everybody.
