Introducing York Air Conditioning
York is one of the most renowned producers and manufacturers of an array of air conditioners that provide the ultimate comfort to homes and offices as they create a cool, dry and quiet living environment. It is a very strong patent to be displayed and used. For over a century, it has been utilized to cool global and local institutions. Also, the company has contributed great innovations to the air conditioning industry.
Its latest innovation is the so-called ‘split system’ air conditioner. Traditionally, a home comfort system consists of two parts which include an outdoor unit and an indoor unit (an air handler or furnace); the two are designed to complement each other. Air conditioning happens as the outdoor unit (also called the condensing unit) cools the air then sends it to the indoor unit for circulation through the building. To know if the air conditioner is properly matched with the air handler or furnace, the result should be maximum efficiency and longer system life. Such efficiency is measured with the use of a directly proportion measure termed as Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio (SEER), wherein if SEER is higher, it means that energy efficiency is higher.
Now, the new York air conditioning system has these two parts, but also has additional features. The York split system includes a condenser coil, evaporator coil, high energy ratio compressor, fan, and refrigerant. With these special components, the system is able to remove heat from indoor air and transfer this out. The cooled indoor air which was left is used to circulate again. Since it is a central air conditioner, its power source is electricity and it makes use of ductwork to distribute cool air throughout the home.
Another cool feature is its ‘soothing sound of silence.’ With York air conditioning, it is like there is no air conditioner at all! It is craftily designed to be an ultra quiet air conditioner. This is because of the state-of-the-art automatic air sweeper, sliding chassis, advanced heat exchanger, one touch anti-fungus air filter, and two drainage methods.
In installing the unit, however, there are cautions to be observed for its maintenance and for overall safety. Proper consultation should be done if a York air conditioning unit is to be placed in locations where soot/steam or sulphide gas occurs, in oily ambience, and in salty or corrosive environments. The unit should be mounted on a solid base that can bear its weight and that does not amplify the operation noise or vibration (for a perfect, whisper-quiet result).
This one-of-a-kind air conditioning system requires just minimal effort for maintenance and cleaning. It only needs wiping of the exterior with a soft dry cloth. For a very dirty unit, a cloth soaked in not more than 40 degrees Celsius warm water should be used in wiping. As for the air filter which is the lifeline component, it should be removed by holding the knobs lightly at both sides and lifting a little before cleaning. It should be thoroughly dried before reinstalling.
